A tantric research and practice group
Sree Bhairavi Gurukulam is a tantric research and practice group dedicated to studying, preserving, and experiencing the ancient sciences of self-development.
Our work brings together traditional tantric teachings, contemplative practices, meditation, breathwork, and self-inquiry — approached with sincerity, discipline, and an open spirit of exploration.
Founded by Guru Sri Jinesh Narayanan, SreeBhairavi carries forward the teachings of his two great gurus, preserving a tradition dating back several thousand years.

Beyond rituals — into consciousness
Tantra is more than a collection of rituals or techniques. At its heart is a profound exploration of human consciousness and the relationship between body, mind, energy, and awareness.
Our purpose is to create a space where these ancient teachings can be studied and practised responsibly, while exploring their relevance to modern life.
We encourage direct experience alongside study — because true understanding comes not only from learning about a practice, but from observing its effects within oneself.
Six dimensions of practice
Our curriculum draws from the full breadth of the tantric tradition, integrating study with direct experience.
Meditation & Awareness
Practices designed to cultivate attention, stillness, presence, and deeper awareness of the mind.
Breath & Energy Practices
Traditional approaches to working with breath and subtle energy as tools for developing greater sensitivity and inner balance.
Tantric Philosophy
Study of classical tantric perspectives on consciousness, existence, the body, energy, and the nature of experience.
Self-Inquiry
Exploring patterns of thought, emotion, perception, and behaviour through observation and conscious awareness.
Traditional Practices
Learning from ancient practices while seeking to understand their principles, context, and purpose.
Research & Documentation
Studying traditional sources and contemporary interpretations to preserve knowledge and encourage thoughtful exploration.

"Your daily practices shape the course of your life. When you cultivate love, gratitude, and surrender to higher consciousness, these qualities manifest within your being."Jinesh ji
Learn. Practice. Observe. Integrate.

We do not promote quick fixes or promises of instant transformation. Inner development is a gradual journey that requires patience, responsibility, and consistent practice.

Ordinary life as a doorway
Traditional Tantra offers a distinctive perspective: rather than rejecting ordinary human experience, it can be used as a doorway to greater awareness.
Body, breath, senses, emotions, thoughts, and relationships can all become subjects of conscious observation and practice.
Through this perspective, everyday life itself becomes part of the journey toward deeper self-understanding.
A space for serious exploration
We welcome sincere seekers, practitioners, students, and researchers who wish to explore these traditions beyond superficial interpretations.
Authenticity
Respect for the depth and origins of traditional teachings.
Experience
Learning through disciplined personal practice.
Inquiry
Asking questions rather than accepting ideas blindly.
Respect
Honouring different traditions, teachers, cultures, and individual paths.
Responsibility
Approaching practices thoughtfully, ethically, and with appropriate guidance.
The journey begins with awareness
There is no single destination in self-development. The journey begins with a willingness to look within, observe deeply, and discover what is already present. Whether you are new to tantric traditions or have been practising for years, we invite you to explore, learn, and experience with an open mind.
Discover the tradition. Experience the practice. Explore the self.
